Chat Watch.NET was down for approximately 14 hours due to an unexpected network
related problem. During this time the Chat Watch.NET website was unavailable and
no new chat logs were saved to Chat Watch.NET. This was the first unexpected down
time for Chat Watch.NET since its launch exactly four months ago (August 1, 2005).
We apologize for the inconvenience and rest assured we are taking steps to prevent
this problem from happening again.
For users of Chat Watch: If you are using Chat Watch 4 and the "Use Chat
Watch.NET exclusively" option in Chat Watch's settings is not selected, the chat
logs will be available in Chat Watch. When the "Use Chat Watch.NET exclusively"
option is not selected the chat logs are saved to both Chat Watch.NET and to the
computer running Chat Watch.
For users of Chat Watch Professional: If Chat Watch Professional encounters
an error while sending a chat log to Chat Watch.NET the chat log will be saved locally
to the computer and you can view it using the Chat Watch Professional Log Viewer.
