To store your chat logs on Chat Watch.NET you will need one of the following:

• Chat Watch 5.
• Chat Watch 4.2.3 or newer.
• Chat Watch Professional Edition 2.0 or newer.

We highly recommend that you use Chat Watch 5 with Chat Watch.NET. Chat Watch 5 is best integrated with Chat Watch.NET and allow you to take full advantage of Chat Watch.NET's features.

Chat Watch 5 is available FREE to subscribers of Chat Watch.NET while you are subscribed. Chat Watch 5 can be unlocked by clicking Help, Enter or View License Key, and then by entering your Chat Watch.NET account # and password.

Just how, exactly, does Chat Watch.NET work?

As it is now, your Chat Watch is saving all the instant message logs to the computer it is installed on. But once you enter your Chat Watch.NET account name and password into Chat Watch, the chat logs will then be securely transmitted (over SSL) to the Chat Watch.NET databases. Then you are able to view the chat logs from any computer in the world!

Configuring Chat Watch 5

Open Chat Watch's settings by clicking the Settings button on Chat Watch's toolbar. On the Settings dialog, click the Log Storage section. Select the Save the chat logs to my Chat Watch.NET account option and enter your Chat Watch.NET account name and password into the appropriate boxes. Click the Test Login button to verify you have entered your account name and password correctly. Your chat logs will now be saved to your Chat Watch.NET account.

Viewing the Logged Chats

Finally, to view the logged chats, simply log in to your Chat Watch.NET account. Once you log in you will be able to view, delete, save, and review the chat logs.
